‘At the end of World War 2 all front doors in Wageningen had disappeared’
‘De Wereld’ is a research into my hometown of Wageningen, site of the formal capitulation of the German forces in the Netherlands. It hosts a yearly commemoration event. Combining various source material with my own writing and photography, ‘De Wereld’ is structured as a walk through the city as well as time.
Although combined in a book, the project is presented here for now as 3 separate series of photos, without the text:
